Pro Gear & Transmission, Orlando’s best paying heavy duty drivetrain rebuilder is growing and looking for diesel truck mechanics. Whether you are entry level and willing to learn, mid-level, or a seasoned heavy-duty diesel truck mechanic, we want to hire and train you.

Compensation and other details

Salary: $26.00 – $30.00 per hour – based on experience

• Builder bonus – paid per unit
• Full time: Monday – Friday – 40 hours per week guaranteed – NO FLAT RATE!
• Paid holidays, paid sick time and paid vacation.
• Company provided uniforms.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Removal and re-installation of transmissions and differentials in heavy-duty diesel trucks.
• Rebuild various components such as transmissions, differentials, and transfer cases
• Must be able to work independently.
• Standard technician-owned tools are required.
• Assist other technicians and rebuilders.
• Effectively handle lifting of object weighing up to 70 pounds.

Education and/or Experience

• 1 year experience and/or training in the repair of heavy-duty diesel trucks.
